EVERY MIND MATTERS: MENTAL HEALTH 101
Join Every Mind Matters Project on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM EST for a free virtual community information night focused on building mental health awareness and understanding. We’ll explore the basics of mental health, challenge common misconceptions, discuss how to recognize when someone may be struggling, and share ways to support others and access resources. Whether you're looking to learn for yourself, a loved one, or your community, everyone is welcome! Free to attend. A voluntary $5 donation is encouraged to support EMMP’s ongoing educational and community outreach initiatives. Your participation matters, and every contribution helps us continue our mission.

As important as academic supplies are, it is just as, if not more, important that we make sure the generation of our future is taking care of their minds. Back to school can be a stressful time, and the EMMP wants to make sure that students don't feel alone as they navigate this transition.
These self-care bags contained: a growth mindset keychain, a fidget, mental health stickers, tissues with positive sayings, mini notebooks with inspirational messages, cute/motivational pens, an EMMP business card, and a resource card with a variety of hotlines.
Our goal was to put together 200 self care bags and we exceeded our goal by making 250 bags!!
With the exception of the founder's personal hometown school district, there was a lot of thought put into where these bags went. Research was conducted to compile a list of areas that might face lower socioeconomic statuses (SES). Socioeconomic status directly influences further social determinants of health, including: access to proper care and resources, living conditions and neighborhood conditions, and chronicity of stress.
Thank you to the community, to Holly Glick, and a VERY big thank you to SNS Equestrian for their very generous donation that allowed us to purchase quite an amount of materials that we couldn’t put on the Amazon wishlist (including business cards, cardstock paper for resource cards, etc.).
